A longtime affiliation with the trade union SAG/AFTRA has made a second career as an actor possible for Fields. Since 2015, as a background actor, she has appeared in over four dozen films and television series in New England, Atlanta and New York. She also serves as a “stand-in,” most notably for actress Leslie Jones in her role in the all-female remake of “Ghostbusters.”  Her commercial work includes Massachusetts Lottery and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care’s promotion featured in subway stops in the greater Boston area. Fields’ voice-over work includes United States Postal Service training videos, American Airlines Visitors Center (Dallas), KeySpan Energy rebranding campaign, and Audible narrator in her book, “Going Back to T-Town: The Ernie Fields Territory Big Band."
